영어발음 - Final -ed /-s 사운즈

영어에서 -ed로 끝나는 단어들은 세가지로 발음 가능함

/id/ - 만약 -ed 전 끝단어가 /t/ or /d/발음으로 끝날때

ex) accounted, responded, needed, permitted

/t/ - 만약 -ed 전 끝단어가 unvoiced consonant sound 발음으로 끝날때

ex) topped, rushed, crunched, talked, influenced

/d/ - 만약 -ed 전 끝단어가 voiced consonant sound 또는 vowel sound 발음으로 끝날때

ex) engineered, delayed, employed, managed

 

영어에서 S로 끝나는 단어들은 세가지로 발음 가능함

/iz/ - 만약 S 전 끝단어가 /s/, /ʃ/, /ʧ/, /z/, /ʒ/ or /ʤ/ 발음으로 끝날때

ex) budges, offices, amazes, cashes

/s/ - 만약 S 전 끝단어가unvoiced consonant sound 발음으로 끝날때

ex) benefits, briefs,  agreements, booths

/z/ - 만약 S전 끝단어가 voiced consonant sound 또는 vowel sound 발음으로 끝날때

ex)presentations, replies, committees, overrides
